Collier is President of Direct Communications. He has both grassroots and public affairs experience, and has led successful statewide public education campaigns. Collier also brings to the GRCA his experience in coalition building, strategic counseling, media management and public relations.

Katie is a Senior Estimator at Brasfield & Gorrie in Birmingham. In her role she oversees the successful development of construction projects throughout the country. She is active in the Alabama chapter of the USBGC, as well as other community organizations such as the Junior League of Birmingham.

Dr. Anthony C. Hood


Freddy is part of the Governmental & Corporate Affairs team at Alabama Power. A native of The Black Belt, he is active in various organizations that include:  The Collaborative Environmental Network of Alabama, The Rotaract Club of Birmingham, The Alabama Wildlife Federation and Alabama Black Belt Adventures.


Dr. Hood is an Assistant Professor in the UAB Collat School of Business where he conducts research at the intersection of social networks, shared cognition, communication and innovation in interdisciplinary teams. He received his PhD in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Alabama. 







Chris is Shareholder at the Birmingham-based law firm, Maynard Cooper. His practice focuses on general litigation and environmental matters. Chris is active in organizations such as the Cahaba River Society and has served the Green Resource Center for Alabama as a board member since its inception.
