Creating sustainability progress through education.
2016 Green Progress Report Released
The Green Resource Center for Alabama is proud to provide the annual Green Progress Report, the only resource of its kind documenting our state's wide range of green and sustainable projects and initiatives. Each year, a growing number of contributors aim to collectively share and promote the many different ways Alabama continually strives to make advances in green efforts and sustainable progress. Since its first release in 2008, the report has grown four times its original size.
"The report aims to serve future generations with a collective testimony of the many ways Alabama has worked to attain sustainable progress. "
The Green Progress Report is divided into nine categories: Land Conservation and Preservation; Environmental Education; Energy Efficiency; Transportation; Recycling and Cleanups; Parks Trails and Recreation; Building and Design; Corporate Sustainability; and Sustainability Progress and Initiatives.
